Chicago Metropolitan Forecast    Sunday   July 5th 2009

SUNDAY:   Mixture of sun and clouds return with highs close to 75 at the beaches but near 80 well inland.  NICE FACTOR 9/10

MONDAY:   Mostly cloudy skies and slightly warmer temps expected. However, NO FULL SUNSHINE yet as waves of cloudiness will move across the sky due to decaying t-storms over Iowa, Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. No rain expected until after midnight. High 75 to 80. NICE FACTOR 5/10

TUESDAY:  Morning showers likely as weak cool front moves through. Humidity levels will rise but temps not expected to crack 80 as leftover clouds will remain through the day. NICE FACTOR 6/10

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY:   Potentially active weather week as stationary front remains draped across southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Rounds of showers and t-storms are likely from time to time depending on where the boundary sets up.   Temperatures across the north suburbs will remain in the 70s while far south will be in the lower 80s.  NOT THE BEST

By Sunday July 12, another cool pattern returns and will keep temps in the 70s with periods of rain through the 19th.
